Abacus

Rather than bore the kids with traditional math problems, let's learn how to solve crazy math problems with beads and have fun! Once you master this course, beads or no beads, you're ready to take on the math challenge. The course is designed to suit kids of varying ages.

The abacus course offered by Hobbyez is a math computation instrument that has been around for over a century. Many people in Asia and Africa, as well as other parts of the world, use it for mathematical calculations.

the fact that the earliest Abacus discovered dates from 300 BC and was used in Mesopotamia, Egypt, Persia, Greece, Rome, and India, its applications are still prevalent in China and Japan. The top and lower parts of an abacus are normally separated. The bar that separates the portions is referred to as a bar. This aids in faster addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication computations in the mind. While everyone understands how useful an abacus is for math, there are other unnoticed abacus perks that enhance a child's general development. Because the majority of a child's development happens during the early years, enrolling them in abacus sessions at an early age may be quite beneficial.
Hobbyez will deliver the following course materials to your doorstep.
  • Abacus Frame
  • Pencil and Pouch
  • Books related to the course

The benefits of using an abacus

Concentration is enhanced.

While learning to use an abacus and do simple mathematical operations, the kid is simultaneously learning to tune out any external distractions. They progress to a simple visualisation approach after mastering the operation of the abacus, which allows them to mentally assume the abacus and perform calculations. This, in turn, improves their ability to concentrate even more. These abilities are transferred to other areas of life, and the youngster is able to concentrate on anything that comes their way, whether at school or at home.

Enhances Observation and Listening Capabilities

A child who has been learning Abacus for math can start processing numbers with only one glance with the use of flashcard training, one of the mental training techniques, and while solving mental math problems. The child's observational skills improve as the programme progresses. Similarly, listening abilities improve as children are taught to only hear the numbers once while solving puzzles. This educates the children to pay attention to the questions and to enhance their listening abilities in general.

Enhances the ability to visualise, Creativity, Accuracy and imagination.

Children are encouraged to utilise a virtual abacus from the beginning of their education. This allows them to solve problems fast by envisioning an abacus. The more a child uses this strategy, the stronger their imagination and vision abilities become. The majority of competitive tests are timed, and the youngster, while being an adult, must be able to provide accurate results in a short amount of time. Learning to use an abacus can assist a child learn how to manage their time while remaining precise. The child's brain is properly trained and activated as a result of their superior imagery and imagination abilities, which encourages them to be more creative.

One of the major advantages of using an abacus is that it improves memory.

During number instruction and problem solving, a youngster must recall multiple pictures. Students studying the abacus have a tendency to recall the final image created when completing the issue before providing the final solution. A child's capacity to remember anything they see develops with repetition and can even lead to it having a photographic memory.
